CAN 14 DAYS BE EQUAL TO 58 SECONDS?
When 14 days of silent planning, high-altitude hunting, and relentless tracking culminate in just 58 seconds of precision, that’s not just an operation it’s a legacy.
That’s Operation Mahadev !!
Meanwhile… somewhere in the shadows of Mahadev peak… the mountains remember.
Day 1 – Shadows over Mahadev
The forests beneath Mahadev Peak in Srinagar’s Dachigam valley turned into the silent theater of a manhunt. After the April 22 Pahalgam attack, encrypted signals were intercepted near Mulnar–Harwan, reviving a deadly Lashkar-e-Taiba communication code once used in 2016. The origin of those signals marked the beginning of Operation Mahadev.
Day 3 – The Phantom Revealed
Intelligence agencies identified the mastermind as Suleiman Shah alias Hashim Musa, a former Pakistan Army SSG commando who had melted into Lashkar’s ranks. Hardened in jungle warfare, he had become a legend of fear. Satellite imagery and ground reconnaissance confirmed the presence of a camouflaged terror hideout in the Mulnar jungles.
Day 5 – The Web Tightens
Elite 4 PARA (Special Forces) were inserted silently. The terrain was dangerous escape tunnels, booby traps, motion sensors. Patience, precision, and stealth were their only weapons. The mission was formally codenamed Operation Mahadev, signifying destruction of evil.
Day 9 – The Signal of Urgency
At 0400 hours, SIGINT intercepted an alarming encrypted message: “Move before full moon.” This hinted at a planned strike, possibly during the Amarnath Yatra in Srinagar. The operation could not wait the countdown had begun.
Day 11 – Locking the Target
Drone surveillance detected movements near a shepherd’s hut. The suspects were confirmed: Suleiman Shah, Afghan, and Gibran all high-value Lashkar operatives, armed to the teeth. Escape routes were sealed, and infiltration teams moved into position.
Day 13 – The Reckoning
After four days of pursuit, the 4 PARA commandos launched their final move. Using micro drones with AI-assisted thermal vision, they located the trio asleep in a camouflaged camp.
At 03:46 AM, the silent assault began. Within 58 seconds, six suppressed rounds brought all three down. Not a single soldier was injured. The operation was as clinical as it was decisive.
The Aftermath
Weapons, radios, and mobile devices recovered from the site revealed handlers in Muzaffarabad and planned GPS routes targeting civilian zones. Among the haul were 3 AK-47 rifles, 17 grenades, encrypted radios, night-vision scopes, Pakistani combat rations, and marked maps. Intelligence confirmed a major civilian attack was prevented.
